Resource Families

Resource Families is a program designed for foster parents who have never completed the home study process before. We aspire to create a community of support for Resource Parents who are fostering youth between the ages of 14 – 18 years by providing them with intensive support and opportunities for personal growth.

Our Resource Parents will be licensed through CYFD and will receive all of the CYFD base compensation and support. As a participant in this program, they will receive additional support and financial resources through New Day’s Resource Families Program.
The goal of this new approach is to improve the relationship of Resource Parents and young people as well as improving stability and a sense of belonging for youth. This will be accomplished by creating a culture of inclusivity, having an open-mind, honoring individuality, developing a sense of belonging, and humility for both Resource Parents and each young person.
Program Purpose: To create a community where all find the grounding to learn about themselves and how to thrive within relationships. Through an increasingly collaborative support network, youth will find increased sense of belonging and stability.

We’ll be there for you, so you can be there for them.
