● What? |
Since 2013, New Day’s Life Skills Academy has been a pioneering approach to fill the life skills gaps that perpetuate negative outcomes for young people who have experienced homelessness or who are disconnected from education and employment. It offers young people valuable knowledge, experiences of success, and a window into their own strengths and inherent value. The Academy offers both classes and one-to-one life skills coaching.
● Why? |
Young people who are unhoused, disconnected (not in work or school) or otherwise marginalized often miss out on the opportunity to learn basic life skills necessary to navigate our complex world. New Day’s Life Skills Academy is designed for these young people, ages 16-22, who are looking to dig deeper into their functional and emotional intelligence and to grow their social capital.
