Individual & Group Life Skills Coaching
New Day’s team of Life Skills Coaches work one-on-one with youth to help them identify the unique goals and strategies that will help them take the next positive steps in their life, and build the confidence and courage needed to continue making positive decisions on their own in the future.

● How? |
|
Life Skill Coaches work directly with young people ages 12-18 to identify and focus on goals like job readiness, increasing social skills, financial literacy, healthy living, and many other goals that are youth driven.
● What? |
|
LS Coaches act as a "bridge" for engaging young people through relationship and by increasing a young person’s connection to self, others, and the community.
Our coaches spend time with youth learning new things together and help them to gain confidence in themselves as they navigate the world and transition toward adulthood.

● Why? |
|
Life Skills Coaching offers an individualized approach to learning life skills.
Life Skills Coaches play a key role in increasing access to, and engagement in LSA classes to empower youth to create a sense of community, connection, and belongingness.
Everyone should have the opportunity to experience success. Life Skills Coaches can support young people in facing their fears by learning and trying new things such as finding employment, self-advocacy, and opportunities that cultivate inner wealth. Coaches can support youth in identifying their “Spark” or purpose through self-exploration and by creating an action plan to help measure successes along the way.
